Grown by Grace farm is the name of our 14 acre homestead in Iowa. We came up with this name as it is our desire to grow by God's grace here, whether it be our babies, 4 kitties and a woof, crops, or gardens! Jon and I are both born again christians, which means we have a "new life" in Jesus Christ as we recognize Him as Savior of our sins, by His death and resurrection from the cross. I hope to use this blog to share with you some of the Lords blessings on our lil' country life here :)

AWE.... the LAST attempt at a decent family picture... STILL freezing and nope... we NEVER DID get out a Christmas letter! Im such a failure:(

Munchkin mans first Christmas! Oh boy did he get spoiled from Gma and Gpa. I hosted this year at our house... kinda nice to be home and not travel but I missed my momma! (esp. her doing all the cooking! ) haha. Isaiah has a nice lil cut on his upper lip... we kept joking he looked like he has a "hair" lip... poor guy .. apparently even cardboard boxes are dangerous!Family
Here is the FREEZING outdoors pic! Nice carhart Jon! Gag....man was it a trip up the hill too... youd think it woulda warmed me up carrying a 20 something pound baby uphill all bundled up in a foot plus of snow! NOPE... it was BITTER!Family
This was a family picture taken at Christmas this last year (2010) ... I SO badly wanted it taken out by our chicken barn bc it woulda been so CUTE... but it was SOOO cold out there that we couldnt bear to take off our coats for a quick snap.... so we kept them ON.. and look a bit W.T with our old farm/ work outside coats on.... post to follow
