I was so glad that Jon had the patience with me
to visit some antique and primitive stores on our honeymoon.
This was my FAVORITE shop in Tennessee... I wanted to
move in so badly .. it looked just like a home inside.
Jon even enjoyed it! Prices were very
reasonable compared to shops from Nebraska and Iowa.
So, I MADE room in our lil car rental for a punched tin
small bedside cabinet, distressed with barn red.
If there would have been ANY room left in the car..
trust me there would have been more purchases.
One more reason to head back to the Smokeys, right?
With a Uhaul! :) Oh the cuteness!
Grown by Grace farm is the name of our 14 acre homestead in Iowa. We came up with this name as it is our desire to grow by God's grace here, whether it be our babies, 4 kitties and a woof, crops, or gardens! Jon and I are both born again christians, which means we have a "new life" in Jesus Christ as we recognize Him as Savior of our sins, by His death and resurrection from the cross. I hope to use this blog to share with you some of the Lords blessings on our lil' country life here :)

Our honeymoon cabin
Our honeymoon lodge was 3 stories high over looking the smokey mountains and had everything from a fully stocked kitchen to a game room to a hot tub sitting on one of our 2 decks over looking the mountains. We can't wait to go back again! It was so cozy and gorgeous there. We wished we would have allowed more time for trail hiking and to see more of Pigeon Forge.
